I've been thinking of the way of studying English for a long time. You know,I didn't update my blog since July. Meanwhile,I had been thinking about the way of studying English.

I noticed that my mind about studying English changed. When I started to study English,I had enjoyed studying English. I used to like to read English books and web sites and also,I enjoyed updating my blog in English.

But..., somehow,I've not been feeling enjoy studying English for a long time. I don't know why I think so. I can say that my mind that I want to improve my English skill is true and I still like to study English. But now, I think I should change the way of studying English.

Actually,I'm tired of English lessons. My teacher and class mates are all good people,but I think there's no point if I talk in English with Japanese people at the class. My teacher is a native speaker,but he always speaks slowly and carefully because he is a teacher. His English is really clear and easy to understand. But I think it's impractical. I think I need to get used to the speaking speed of native speakers. I know it's good to go to abroad to study English, but I can't go for some time yet.

So,I'm looking for something which makes to motivate me to study English.

I'm sorry, but I may quit this blog.
If I could find something, I'm going to tell you on this page.

Summer vacation of students has just started. My sons were still sleeping when I left home for work. Ahh,I envy them. I wish I could go back when I was a student.

In this summer,I have a plan to go to my husband's parent's house in Kochi pref. We are going to drive to Kochi and it would take about 10 hours. I guess it's tough but travel cost is cheaper than Shinkansen.
There will be a famous festival called YOSAKOI-MATSURI in Kochi while we're staying in KOCHI. It's really big and exciting festival so I'm really looking forward to it.

Well,do you have any plans in your summer vacation? If you come to Japan,I recommend you to go to Odaiba in Tokyo. The big festival called "the United States of Odaiba" is now being held until August 31. I hope I go there until the end of the festival but I don't know whether I can take a day off. What I really want to see of this festival is a big Gundam. There is the 18m-high Gundam in Odaiba and it's life size.



I used to see Gundam on TV when I was a child and I really loved it. Gundam has been popular for a long time and a lot of people love Gundam. This big Gundam doesn't move, but people who had seen it said that they are really impressed with the quality of the work. Hmmm,I really want to see it!

I just started Twitter.

I don't know whether I can keep it for a long time, or not. But I'm going to twitter in English at least once a day because I have no time to update my blog.

June is almost over,so I have to update my blog at least once. As I said before,I've been unmotivated to study English. However,it's not that I want to quit studying English. I have the feeling that I want to improve my English,yet. So,I'll make effort to keep my blog and update it at least once a month.

Well,I went to Costco last month. Costco is a famous super market in the US,right? Some of them are in Japan,and I went to the Yokohama's. I've been interested in American products,and sometimes I order some products from an American web site. I always order some lavatory papers,paper towels, detergents,and so on. I like designs of American products and of course, I think quality is good.

My favorite product is "Downy". You know,it's a fabric softener. I love the smell of "clean breeze ". It makes me relax. Sometimes my friends ask me what kind of fabric softener I use because my clothes smell good. I really wanted to buy some Downys of "clean breeze " at Costco,but unfortunately,they didn't sell them. I bought "aloe and white lilac"and it has also good smell.

I love Downy but I use "Apple Mango Tango" of "Gain" lately because my friend recommended me "Gain". I really like this smell and because of it I really enjoy the laundry. American detergents are a little bit expensive if you buy them in Japan, but I love these smells so I think it's worth buying.

Anyway,I'll show you what I bought at Costco.

It's been a long time since last time I posted my blog. During that time,I had been thinking of quitting this blog. Because I had been unmotivated to study English.

Actually,I'm still keeping studying English now. I've been studying English at an English school for four years. I don't mean the school is bad, but I don't feel my English skill is improving. My teacher is really good person,and his lesson is fun. My class mates are also good. But somehow I'm unmotivated.

I've been thinking why I'm unmotivated to study English. I've been wondering what I want to do. And then,I found the reason. Maybe,I think my goal is too high. I had been wanting to speak English like a native speaker,but I know it's impossible because I'm living in Japan and there's no native speakers around me. I have only one hour a week to speak English at a school.

My friend living in a foreign country made an offer to have video chatting some times,but I don't have courage. I know I'm inconsistent with what I'm saying. I want to speak English a lot,but I don't have a courage to talk with someone. I want to improve my English skill,but I'm afraid that I might have mistakes in my speaking. I think that's why my English isn't improving. And that's why I'm unmotivated to study English. It's not that I got uninterested in studying English. I think I'm just depressed with myself.


I'm getting lost in a deep forest but I have to find the way to get out of this forest by myself. I promise you to overcome this problem and will update my blog soon.

I had been in Thailand last week. As I wrote about this on my blog before,I went on a trip to Thailand with my friend for a week. I've been to Guam,Indonesia and Singapore before,but had never been to Thailand. I mean,this is the first trip to Thailand. During the trip,I was really excited and this experience was so amazing for me.

My friend and I stayed at Bangkok for 4days and also went on a short trip to a countryside for 2days.You know,Bangkok is really big city. There were lots of tourists in Bangkok. I don't speak Thai but in Bangkok,there were lots of shops having staffs who speak English,so I didn't have troubles to talk to them. I think this was a good opportunity to speak English for me.

Speaking of Thailand,street food is really famous. Photos of below are famous street "Thong Lo". We went to there twice to have dinner during the trip.




This is my favorite dessert,a mango with sticky rice. It's really famous dessert in Thailand, but before I tried it,I couldn't imagine whether it's delicious, or not. Because we don't eat rice with fruits. But I ate it once and was really hooked on it. This is really delicious. You should try it if you go to Thailand. FYI,I ate it five times during the trip.

Yes…,I know it's too late. But I had no time to update my blog for a long time. I had been quite busy at work until the end of last month and I got a bad cold at the beginning of this month. Yeah,I know it's just an excuse.

How was your New year's holidays? I went to my husband's parent's house with my family and stayed a week,but then,my two sons got bad cold. They were in bed for 3days,so we couldn't go to anywhere. My sons already got well,but influenza is now raging throughout Japan.

I didn't update my blog for a long time but I've been really fine. As I wrote before,I got a bad cold,but I already got well. Everyday,air temperature is really low in Japan,but I enjoy playing soccer and futsal at outside.


By the way, I have something to tell you....
